My aunt has a squirrel and she had trouble with this too. Without the correct nutrients it can have seizures, hair loss, and it can also cause death.


We researched the internet and this is what we came up with.





If you are keeping it as a pet, ferret vitamins that go in the water help with making sure it gets the right vitamins.





Nuts, seeds and fruit!


Be careful with peanuts, make sure they are unsalted.





Bird foods and treats are a great source of what they need, I have included a store made for pet squirrels. Many bird food treats have fruit in them.

When I go camping, I buy a Huge bag of peanuts with the shell on and they love them, and I love watching them .

Any kind of nut some will eat bird seed. If you want to give them peanut butter make sure you take it out of the jar for them. They will try too store it in there cheeks and get stuck and it hard to get them out (wear gloves)
